Since its inception in 2001 in Obernai, France, the biennial SPP non-profit conferences have provided a vivid forum in the field of plasmonics, metamaterials and nanophotonics! Join us at the Swisstech Convention Centre, in the historic city of Lausanne on the beautiful shores of Lake Geneva to discuss both fundamental science and rich practical applications of light-matter interactions at the nanoscale!

Switzerland is a very safe and welcoming country, wherever you come from!

The aim of the conference is to foster stimulating scientific interactions between early-career and veteran researchers by providing ample time for vivid interactions in a relaxed atmosphere. To this end, strong emphasis is put on poster sessions as well as noon seminars, e.g., on getting your research funded, creating your own startup or publishing in top scientific journals.
